Our Care Facilities

Rest Home Care

Rest Home Care is 24 hour care by trained staff to residents. People at this level can do some daily tasks themselves, but cannot live independently in their own home.

Respite Care

Respite Care refers to a short-term stay in the RCU, sometimes due to an illness requiring day-to-day supportive services.

Hospital Care

Hospital Care is the highest level of care given to residents that need a high level of support in all aspects of everyday life. The term “Hospital care” is a way to describe the amount of support, or “level of care” a resident needs. Most residents cannot move without the help of another person, and need assistance to do most daily tasks.

Palliative Care

Palliative Care / End of Life Care makes the patient as comfortable as possible, by managing pain and other distressing symptoms due to a terminal illness. Patients usually come into the RCU once they are no longer able to be cared for at home. This allows their family and friends to spend time with them and support each other without the burden of daily care requirements.
